Defense is going to have to play half-way decent this game... It's hard for me to trust this years offense in a shoot-out, but it is prime-time so who knows...

Won't matter Mitch. Unless the D gets 2 sacks and a pick it will still be the "hapless Cowboys with a sorry QB and backup players"....

Maybe we should start listening to Jabari Greer who may know a thing or two about Rob Ryan and the defensive personnel...

On what has stood out most in win vs Vikings: “The first two games, the thing that stood out to me most was miscommunication. Being that these young secondary players have only played together for a max of two years, we saw miscommunication in the secondary. Not really adjusting on the fly, and really it was incohesive. But what I saw in the last game was truly promising. I saw guys adjusting on the fly, I saw them communicating with each other clearly and with precision. And they honestly were one of the strong suits in the Saints’ victory.

On the Black & Gold report he also said it looks like the defense is stating to gel.

No they didn't give up 40 points. But they played the Vikings not a very good football team at all

I disagree. Their offense might not be very good but that defense is. They gave the Saints fits. Mike Zimmer was a great D coordinator with the Bengals and looks to me like he still is.

Vikings have a top 10 Defense in scoring and prior to playing us had a top 10 Defense in yds.

On top of that they held Brady to 140 passing yards and even with 4 INTs given up they still held the PATs to 23 pts.
