Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten was just as upset. Well, sort of.

“I was building up to do it,” Witten said. “I would love to say I have too much class for that, but I think more than that I’m afraid that I’d get stuffed at the goalposts.”

"Witten’s game is more below the rim." LMAO!! I think that says it all.

Yeah, Jason and have you seen Jimmy drag defenders 5-7 yards down the field? They haven't banned that yet.

Pretty awesome. When he does that, we all do this.

Yeah well I saw Witten getting down and dirty blocking people. He didn't drop any passes and he didn't fumble. Just saying. I'm really down on JG right now. Dropped balls, fumbles, not trying for poor but catchable throws, pick 6 vs Cleveland went through his arms(unacceptable) no effort blocking, avoiding hits like Lance Moore. Etc.....Can't blame him for the D though and he's probably the best WR in the NFL. I debated not posting this cuz I'm scared of the backlash but oh well.

JG isn't the only receiver who is dropping or tipping passes. Right now, for the Saints, losing is a team sport. It is pointless to talk about specifics when even special teams is sucking big wind. This entire team needs a gut check.

It definitely is a team effort (or lack thereof), but I take no issue with pointing out specific players when they want the big bucks and can't back it up. It's what I talked about in the off-season, and some people didn't want to hear and probably still don't want to hear it... The stats will be there in the end, but what happens in between and how players respond when their team needs them most is what makes a good player great. Graham's performance yesterday was not an anomaly. If this were 10-15 years ago I think he'd be average at best. If teams were allowed to bump him around more often without fear of penalty, I'm not seeing anything that tells me he could handle it consistently.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Re: Cowboys' Jason Witten upset dunk banned, too (wink, wink)

I suspect the locker room is divided somehow. I don't get mad at bad plays unless I think the effort isn't there. Some of our guys fight for every inch yard whatever. This team needs a leader and I'm not sure Brees is enough. We need someone who will hold guys accountable because his effort is never in doubt. Who can the young guys look to to see how they should play? I worry when guys see JG taking plays off they assume it must be OK. Ingram was playing like the type of obsessed maniac I'm referring to. His loss really hurts. Obviously PT is old because Cadet is below average at best.
