Round 3 - A.J Johnson, ILB Tennessee

probably the best pure ILB but upside? that is why i think he will be here.

Round 4 - Jared Roberts K Colorado State

gotta stop playing in the reject pile. can he handle the jump to the NFL?

Round 5 - Dominique Brown RB Louisville

he is quick with reads, blocks well and he can catch. big quick and nothing fancy no non sense type of RB

Round 6 - Vince Mayle WR Washington State

not a burner but great quickness in and out of cuts. got some hops too

Round 7 - Xavier Williams, DT, Northern Iowa

Big, strong, great leverage and has some quickness to him for such a big boy

Will he come out? wild card this year goes to.
Terrance Smith**, ILB/OLB, Florida State
and
Kris Frost, ILB Auburn
If not on the radar for next year

Gotta get some offensive linemen.

We're going to need several starters over just a few years time. That'll probably be too much to handle through free agency.

Easily the most versatile offensive lineman in this years draft?

trade up
1) Cedric Ogbuhei, OT, Texas A&M - starting right guard as a sophomore, right tackle last year and this year left tackle so far he has done well at all 3.

settling for second best?

2) Brandon Scherff Iowa ROT/OG

trade down
3)Lael Collins LSU ROT

late rounder 6-7 so far

Mitch Morse ROT Missouri - needs some work in the lower body but he has good balance, a solid punch and is quick of the ball. a functional athlete that uses his head and attitude to get the job done. another Zac?

not crazy with these two so far.

I don't think I can stomach drafting yet another DB (CB or S) in the 1st and 2nd rounds. I posted this somewhere else, but last LB'er drafted in first 2 rounds was Mark Fields in 19-freakin-95. We need a fast, athletic MLB or two ASAP. So...

McKinney, Mississippi State. HAIL STATE!

To be fair, draft watch is hagans thing. I think he watches it all season whether the Saints are doing well or not.

I rely on hagan and Pierre and a couple others for all my pre draft info.

it is. always has been. lost more than a few girl friends over football

when college starts games are on 7 days a week around this house. a few sling boxes with a few friends and we access to all the games. we actual lend a hand scouting for a friend that does scouting for a living. you get more wth are you thinking? than nice find!

And no he does not give us insight to his final evals. violation of his job contract.

System today almost always trumps talent. you only get a handful of players that can play in any system and they can be found through out the draft. If you can find them. then there is selling them to the front office. that is a whole different can of worms. some funny stories for sure

sub contracted to watch football aint bad way to get some loose pocket change

and it is pocket change, your wallet does not get fat for sure. but it does get you all the sport channels on cable and dish.

It aint a science and i always am looking for leads and view points that may send in the right direction. more than once has a member here hit the nail on the head about a player and saw what no one else saw. gotta have an open mind.

better to look now when they are playing than wait till the beauty show to make up your mind. that is the way i watch college football. looking for picks.
