Angry Bad Things Happen when ...

We don't run the ball.

Numbers never lie.

1-10-NO 32
(4:12) 22-M.Ingram right end pushed ob at NO 44 for 12 yards (21-J.Gilbert).
1-10-NO 44
(3:37) (Shotgun) 9-D.Brees pass deep middle intended for 80-J.Graham INTERCEPTED by 39-T.Gipson [99-P.Kruger] at CLE 38. 39-T.Gipson for 62 yards, TOUCHDOWN.

2-2-NO 28
(5:04) (Shotgun) 9-D.Brees pass short right intended for 17-R.Meachem INTERCEPTED by 52-J.Durant (54-B.Carter) at NO 40. 52-J.Durant to NO 39 for 1 yard (17-R.Meachem). Interception after ball was tipped by Carter.

3-7-ATL 14
(3:01) (Shotgun) 9-D.Brees pass short right intended for 10-B.Cooks INTERCEPTED by 27-R.McClain at ATL

This one wasn't so Bad being we needed 7 , but we are still promised points if we don't convert. Why force the issue?

2-10-NO 20
(14:58) (Shotgun) 9-D.Brees pass short middle to 12-M.Colston to NO 33 for 13 yards (25-W.Moore). FUMBLES (25-W.Moore), RECOVERED by ATL-59-J.Bartu at NO 38. 59-J.Bartu to NO 38 for no gain (23-P.Thomas).

Here we actually had a nice gain but then boom , game over. One has to wonder though ... It was a rushing down. Why not , well run ?

Stop throwing the ball when they are begging to be ran over. I'm sick of Drew trying to outplay 9 defensive backs. It's not going to happen.

We have positives going for us. Our run game will help our defense. We get a much needed confidence game in New Orleans , then a Bye then Ingram who has been our best player thus far his year back , then a favorable stretch of home games.

Wonder if we'll ever use him ?

You Can't Say Impossible without first saying Im Possible ...

I'm more of the opinion that bad things happen when your defense is unable to stop anyone all game long.

But yeah, running will help. Not giving up 400 yards and 30 points every game will help more.
Halo, jnormand, Mardigras9 and 1 others like this.

You sound like me during the Brooks era. I was right then and you are correct now.

We turn the ball over, yet don't produce turnovers. Fundamentals. Have to get back to them.

Tackle somebody please. I'm not one of those sky is.falling guys, however this is one of the most troublesome losses of the Sean Payton era. It pains me more so that it comes at the hands of the hated cowboys. We were never in the game. This is especially troubling that we have lost to a trio of bad teams. After the bye we face several teams that are better than the teams that we
have lost to.This team is going to struggle to get to 8and8.IMHO we can put our Super Bowl dreams to bed . PLAYOFFS?Playoffs?

There will be no playoffs my friend. I dont even see a winning season, lets just regroup, play as hard as we can. Make plays on the D side, just tackle. With no pass rush teams will just eat us up. We will have to play a shootout with them. So in that case. What worries most of us is Drew and the boys up for the challenge? Can we play ground and pound? Because that is the only way this team will win. Forget big plays, just eat up the clock and score. Because what the coaches are pushing for this year, has not worked at all.

I HATE ATLANTA
