I hope the Byrd's have an unlimited talk & text plan!

Just like the start of every other week during the NFL season, the phone call Gill Byrd always knows is coming occurred Monday.

It was his son, Jairus Byrd, and the conversation wasn't at all out of the ordinary. The two talked as father and son, shared some laughs and then came the usual line of questions from Jairus: Dad, how did I do? What could I have done better?

As Gill has done for so many years, he told his son exactly what he thought and what aspects of his game needed improvement.

Well at least the picture atop the article isn't JB whiffing on a tackle....oh wait...

Too bad its not of him getting an interception.... Oh wait...our defense is unfamiliar with the term "turnover".

If they continue to play like they have this season so far, they will be very familiar with word "turnover" in the off-season.
