Riley vs. Smith

Does anyone have the lowdown on the fight between Victor Riley and Will Smith last week? I just saw a quick mention of it on the Times Picayune website. Isn't this the third fight Riley has been in. First Bentley, then Sullivan and now Smith. So, he doesn't block well, leads the league in false starts, drove his car into his pregnant wife's car with her in it in a bout of anger while in K.C., and doesn't get along well with his teammates.
Haslett surely made the right choice. Turley and Roaf were nothing but troublemakers.

Fact, you\'ve hit it right on the head.
This years\' Irony Cup is awarded to...Jim Haslett.

Good thing we have Jim around to create the right locker room environment.

Wasn\'t the Roaf deal under the great Randy Meuller?
I thought Riley was also. Was the Turley decision Loomis\'s?
I don\'t regret the Turley situation one bit.

Oh, on a positive, I read that Riley was taunting Will Smith for getting treatment after the game and Will physically threw Riley\'s fat butt out of the training room.

YES!!!!!!!!

The more I hear of this Will Smith the more I like him. I can\'t wait to see how he plays next year.

I just went over to SR.com and read a post about Turley having been ejected from Martz\' office by security. While Turley suffers from some sort of rage disorder, he did play with passion and fire here. Same with Roaf. Did it occur to anyone else that Hazlett got rid of 4 of our first round draft choices after 2000?

1. Mark Fields
2. Willie Roaf
3. Chris Naole
4. Kyle Turley

Sad!! And you wonder why we don\'t have a line or a defense?

So much for picking on the rookies...

Unfortunately, this kid sounds like a troublemaker. We simply can\'t allow this sort of cancer to infiltrate our locker room. Luckily, the Panthers will probably be interested in him!
