Saints Were "High" on Selecting Mike Glennon in 2013 NFL Draft
I am happy with how things have turned out!
If the Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn’t take Mike Glennon with the 73rd pick of the 2013 NFL Draft, there was a good chance that the New Orleans Saints would’ve selected the quarterback out of North Carolina State. Even though head coach Sean Payton has taken only one QB (Sean Canfield in 2010) in his eight-year tenure with the Saints, Glennon was apparently high on the team’s list in the third round. However, when the Buccaneers selected Glennon, New Orleans went with Arkansas Pine-Bluff offensive tackle Terron Armstead, two picks later.
