How about that? Got our first INT of 2014, and didn't give up anything deep (as far as I could tell, anyways).

Here's to the boy coming out of that funk...he should have a wealth of confidence going into the MUCH needed Bye Week. White keeps getting abused, so our PRob-lem stepping up to solidify that side of the field will be completely necessary as we press forward.

Looked ugly at times, but Great WIN!!!

It wasn't just white getting beat because Keenan Lewis allowed his fair share of passes aswell

But your right, I've been critical of P-rob, was nice to see him make a great play on the ball the way he did, that wasn't an easy pick to make and he made it.

Yeah, Lewis had some problems, too. Pass rush was not there until late, and Glennon made some pretty amazing throws. Will say our run defense was pretty good. I'm just really glad to see PRob defending the pass well and coming up with a big play.

I like it, plus I called that PRob would be the one to get our first INT of the season a couple of weeks ago. Like it when I'm right, especially being a weather man and being a married man for the last 367 years.

Our DB's played a little better, but they still weren't impressive. But at least they looked a little better.

I could not be more disappointed in Vaccaro.

Nailed it. KVac just doesn't look right...is it a sophomore slump or is he missing MJenkins & Harper?

The DB play was adequate enough, but not good enough to get over the hump. Longest play was 34 yards, which is a sight better than giving up 50+ yard pass plays. And giving up a 1st down on 2nd & 20 looked awful, but you gotta give Glennon a ton of credit on that play. That pass was pretty awesome, though he really should have been sacked on that play.

We can't fault DB's when Mike Glennon has 4-5 seconds to throw.

I thought Vaccaro looked average, not bad. He was around plays and blitzed well.

It was a beautiful play.
99% of DBs at any level will never make that play.
It was that good.
He may never have another like it but he has the one.
btw, enjoy it because that play used up the D's entire allotment of turnovers for the 2nd qtr of the season.

They never show saints games where I live and fox flipped over for the beginning of the O.T and then they turned it off when we where driving. One of the last plays of regulation was Colston with another drop. I was sick when I couldn't see the end but from what I have seen we just do not look good at all on either side of the ball. This bye week is much needed.

It wasn't a drop.
It was a catch and fumble just like the season opener in Atl.
He CAUGHT the ball.
He FUMBLED the ball.
We got LUCKY when the officials blew the call.
I love Marcus but the truth is the truth.
A drop would have been good.

I thought the defense actually played really well today. If not for penalties and Drew throwing picks, it wouldn't have been close.

Yeah it was clearly a fumble, colston had possession and was stripped, it looked exactly like what happened in week 1

We are very lucky it didn't get reviewed, that would have lost us the game again

Anyone notice SP shouting at brees on the sideline after the picks, telling him to throw the F'ing ball away.

Dixon has palyed on defense. Why no Sunseri? He was the only one to make some plays in the preseason.

Dixon only played 5 snaps, probably when P-Rob got hurt.
Vinnie's played special teams, but thats it.

I gues when you've got Byrd, Bush, Vaccaro, and Ball ahead of you at safety its gonna be hard to get snaps.

A bigger disappointment to me is SJB. Zero snaps for our #2 pick in the draft. Its not like our CBs are playing lights out keeping him on the bench.

There seems to be one DB that just looks terrible each week so far.
The D front had better effort this game, but not to the level that will allow the back any room for error.
