Questions about the game today
I wasn't able to see the game, so had some questions for those of you who were able to.
1. How was the offensive line? Was Brees getting a lot of pressure and, if so, was it up the middle, from the sides, etc? How was the run blocking? And did anyone from the O-line stand out (good or bad)? 2. Our receivers/tight ends, were there many dropped passes today? 3. Saw Goodwin went out with injury again, so how did Lelito play after coming in? 4. On defense, how were our front four in terms of getting pressure on Glennon? 5. Lofton and Hawthorne have been slow and faikures in coverage so far this season, and I know Humber started, so how were our ILBs against the pass? 6. How did our secondary play, particularly our cornerbacks? Any other notes you want to throw in, I'd love to hear. Thanks everyone! #WhoDat |

Quite a few and Graham sitting most of the game didn't help

Re: Questions about the game today
We dominated them in every statistical category there is except turnovers, which almost cost us this game.

Not a great win today at all, but a win nonetheless!

Re: Questions about the game today
Humber had a really nice special teams hit before he went out though.

Re: Questions about the game today
3 picks and a turnover, a turnover that was initially ours but we re-turned it. Magically,we won with some nice 3D conversions and great running when it counted. Brees also got yelled at by Payton on the sideline which was deserved.

Gotta disagree with Mitch characterization on question one - granted Drew was harrassed, but those were some bone-headed, stupid throws, and the third interception, Drew was late and sailed it on a deep attempt to Meach... Stills dropped a couple too avoid being laid out and Colston had some key drops; heard an interesting comment post-game - "Brees forces the ball so much to Graham that Colston and the wide receivers aren't use to it coming their way..." That's no excuse to drop the ball, but I get what the guy was saying...

Considering the pass rush was non-existent, they had a solid day; had it been a better group of wide receivers and a healthier V Jackson, it could have been ugly; Lewis and Robinson (who got the first interception of the season) got nicked up...
