You might have a guy with solid physical tools who got released because he didn't fit his team's scheme. And maybe you can find a guy like that who can come in and provide a spark in certain situations. I'm not saying that guy is even out there, but you never know. I definitely don't want Armstrong though. He got released because he's got as much discipline as a stray cat. |

We're not looking for a jack linebacker right now. That's what free agency and the draft are for. However, finding a speed backer with average cover skills isn't impossible. We just have to be committed to looking. And with no team to prep for this week there should be some available time to take a look at guys.

Maybe not on this site so much, but I know you've seen it, and have probably seen it a lot. I was poking fun at those that seem to expect that we'll sign a 27 year old Ray Lewis off the street during the season to shore up our defense. |
