Yawn....wait....what? There's football today? I guess Sundays aren't the same without my Saints. I even slept in.

Re: LIVE OPEN THREAD - BYE WEEK, ALL TEAMS, ALL GAMES
Not sure how many are watching Bengals/Panthers. If the Bengals get to Newton early and hit he will get frustrated. You don't have to sack him but put him on the ground. He has been deadly accurate staying in the pocket this year. It seems his receivers get separation which of course helps. Key is to him Newton early and often. If you do he gives up.
First Panthers opening drive. Bengals were hosed by Officials on 3rd down play that gave the Panthers the ball on first down for easy TD. Newton wasn't rocked at all. |

Re: LIVE OPEN THREAD - BYE WEEK, ALL TEAMS, ALL GAMES
Lions scored on first possession ... too easy ... Vikings defense handling them since then. Vikes woulda' tied it up on their first possession, but 'Touchdown' Teddy Bridgewater threw an interception in the redzone to kill the drive.
Yes, Prater missed his first field goal attempt as a Lion, ... go figure. The Lions have now missed 9 FGA in the first 6 games to equal the total missed by the worst team last season (Bullock-HOU). Suh was double-teamed only three of the first 12 plays, or 25% as I have oft stated/observed ... myth-busted once again, . Take heart, Saints fans ... it's the same ol' Lions, . |
