I hope Cincy does their job and Chicago gets their crap together today.

Let's hope Cutler doesn't have another 4th quarter meltdown.

I don't trust Cincy. Especially after AJ injury. Defense wins this game.

Pretty common for Cutler. Had the Bears followed through, we'd be even further in the mix for the division. Amazingly we're not out at all.

I would say that the Bears would have a chance, if they were playing in Chicago. I just can't see them hanging with Atlanta in the Georgia Dome

Bengals will bounce back against the Panthers. I wouldn't want to play the Bengals after a loss.

Obvious pulling for Bengals to bury the Panthers.

side note...Greg Olsen story on son TJ heart issues was a tear jerker just now on FOX pregame.

I guess we are pulling for the Seahawks in tonight's game since the Cowboys own the tiebreaker against us?

For now, yes. All this positioning and speculation depends on the Saints coming out after the bye a new team :p

I can never pull for the Seahawks. Tiebreaker be damned.

Re: LIVE OPEN THREAD - BYE WEEK, ALL TEAMS, ALL GAMES

Not sure how many are watching Bengals/Panthers. If the Bengals get to Newton early and hit he will get frustrated. You don't have to sack him but put him on the ground. He has been deadly accurate staying in the pocket this year. It seems his receivers get separation which of course helps. Key is to him Newton early and often. If you do he gives up.

First Panthers opening drive. Bengals were hosed by Officials on 3rd down play that gave the Panthers the ball on first down for easy TD. Newton wasn't rocked at all.

Prater missed 50 yarder. lol

Re: LIVE OPEN THREAD - BYE WEEK, ALL TEAMS, ALL GAMES

Lions scored on first possession ... too easy ... Vikings defense handling them since then. Vikes woulda' tied it up on their first possession, but 'Touchdown' Teddy Bridgewater threw an interception in the redzone to kill the drive.

Yes, Prater missed his first field goal attempt as a Lion, ... go figure. The Lions have now missed 9 FGA in the first 6 games to equal the total missed by the worst team last season (Bullock-HOU).

Suh was double-teamed only three of the first 12 plays, or 25% as I have oft stated/observed ... myth-busted once again, ;).

Take heart, Saints fans ... it's the same ol' Lions,.

Are those empty seats at Tampa 1/2 time hot dog queues or have people just left the game in droves?

Dalton's 40000 yard interception was one of the worst throws ive ever seen.

That was a BAD pass for a pro QB. Wow. Kinda Drew Breesus looking. About to go up two scores and now tied. Kuechly looked concussed but back in. Big MO with Panthers now.

Happens every year. Bengals start out undefeated and end up 8-8, or something like that. Pretty typical.

Bungles sucking bad. A ton of penalties. False starts at home. Need a first down here and Harper INT> #3 on the year for him.
