Re: Reggie Bush Reunion in Detroit Immenent
If those 2 DT's play like they should, Drew is gonna have it rough with the pressure up the middle. Mosley ain't that bad either in their DT rotation plus Ansah is very talented from the outside. We'll probably have to resort to keeping a RB/FB/TE in the backfield full-time to help out our interior O-Line.
Their D is pretty dang good. Holding Rodgers & Co. to 1 TD is kind of a big deal (it certainly killed my fantasy team that week, for sure). However, they've also played some pretty pedestrian offenses like NYJ, MIN, BUF, and the NY Eli's to be #1 in overall defense with 197 yards per game & 13.7 points per game allowed. I am excited about this one, and I would not be shocked at all if this one is low scoring. Bush should be amped for this one and trying to make a statement. That could work in our favor...we've seen him far too often try too hard and make some real big mistakes. Can't wait! |

I wanna' see Drew, Brady, Cutler & another round of Rodgers before they get the official "SloMotion Seal of Approval", .
That will be the focus of the game, IMO ... if the Lions D can handle Brees & Co. It's a given that Stafford can be rattled into mistakes, especially if Calvin is not in or 100%, and the O/L is a discombobulated mess, for some odd reason. Saints D, despite their woes, should put up a good showing in this one. I'm anticipating this one as well ... if the Lions win, it could mean they're ready to start beating the next tier teams, albeit not a Saints team on the level as previous teams, eh? DET 16 - NO 9 ... how's that for a low scorer, brother? |

I'm sure Reggie is looking for some payback after we disrespected him the way we did. I wonder is he still speaks to anyone in the Saints organization?

Re: Reggie Bush Reunion in Detroit Immenent
Nicely done...see what you did there. You thinking 2 TDs, 1 FG, and 1 Missed PAT for Detroit? What is blatantly wrong with your prediction is not the score but that we'd be able to make 3 FGs in 1 game with our kicker.
I never predict actual scores and I never pick who wins, so this game is won by a 4 point margin. Nobody scores more than 24. |

Re: Reggie Bush Reunion in Detroit Immenent
I bet after all the kicking woes the lions have had, they will not miss one vs us and will probably hit a game winner
Teams never miss FG's against us. |

Re: Reggie Bush Reunion in Detroit Immenent
Well, sounds like Detroit's kicking game will finally get back on track in this one!, . If that's the case, then I wanna' change my prediction of 16pts comprised of 2TDs, 1FG and 1 missed PAT to being made up of 1TD & 3FG's ... besides, without Calvin, the Lions offense absolutely sputters, .

Saints at Lions MDS’s take: The Saints’ offense is good and their defense is bad. The Lions’ defense is good and their offense is bad. I’ll break the tie by going with home-field advantage, and that means the Lions. MDS’s pick: Lions 23, Saints 20. Florio’s take: The Lions have a great defense, but they haven’t faced an offense quite like the one the Saints have. Sure, Reggie Bush will want some revenge. But he can only do so much to match what the Saints will muster, with two weeks to rest and to prepare for a showdown with the team New Orleans manhandled less than three years ago in the playoffs. Florio’s pick: Saints 34, Lions 27. BREAK BREAK Should be a great game...obviously an even better game if we can get that road monkey off our back. It's a vicious little creature. |
