The run game has been good in his absence, but I believe Ingram brings a toughness this team has been missing.

The time is now to right this ship.

Re: Mark Ingram

I believe he does lite a fire on the line, with his abuse on the football after a good run.

Re: Mark Ingram

He has a fire that's been missing during the game. It's scary when he, PT, and Robinson are crushing it on the runs and the O-Line is handling it up front.

Re: Mark Ingram

Will be good to get him back, we need some attitude brought back to the team

Hope he can pick up right where he left off.

Re: Mark Ingram

Whats odd is he's been on fire over his last 6 games (including playoffs last year) but we're only 2-4 during that span.

Last 6 games, 68 carries, 396 yards, 5.8 YPC, 2 wins, 4 losses.

Not trying to be a downer, but I just thought that was very odd.

It is very odd but its obvious those losses are not anything to do with him

Granted he had a fumble in Seattle but our team didn't exactly play well anyway

The browns and falcons game were solely on the defense

He and Khiry pretty much were our offense in the playoff game vs philly, they won that game for us.

Football Outsiders did an interesting article about a decade ago that concluded, teams that are winning run the ball, not that a team needed to run to win. There wasn't a correlation to running the ball a lot and winning. (other than to run out the clock)

That being said, a good run game certainly doesn't hurt your chances of winning.

Re: Mark Ingram

I'm glad he is back. Since he was not extended he is playing like it counts, which is more than I can say about some other players on this team.
