Couldn't have said it better. SP needs to realize this as well though, he can't put too much on Brees shoulders. We need to draft some solid LBs and O-line in this draft because the make-up of the team must change for us to be a winner again.

I agree that Drew Brees must make sure that the organisation should be aware that he is not at 100% of the peak Drew Brees. I do not agree that he should ready himself to take sacks because there will be no Drew Brees sooner rather than later. The organisation for sure should ready themselves to to protect Drew Bress better with a more effective against a QB seeking defense and look at plays where a RB is near Drew Brees to aid further blocking or to pick up on broken plays.

Lions play the Falcons next week and the Seahawks play the Panthers. Both NFC teams could loose.. IF, and that`s a big IF we win against the Packers we are still in it.

You mean NFC South yeah.
I reckon we are still in it even if all 3 NFC South teams lose. However we have to get results against our own division. A sweep, the rest of the way, would help.

Haha... He had the balls to hold out until he got his money. Hasn't been the same since.

The cerebral QBs choke the hardest. Assured that they can think themselves out of any situation.

Interesting how Drew Brees doesn't grow some legs and learn to get himself out of a collapsing pocket. Just ground-checks a ball instead of running for five, maybe ten. But then again, once you pay a man a hundred mil...

This was a SAD, sad loss that will come back to haunt.
