Officiating is why the Lions won this game.

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Lions won because we couldn't put the game away with 5 minutes left. Instead of scoring a TD, we kick a stinking FG to go up 23-10 instead of 27-10 with 5 minutes left. Blame the refs if y'all want, ...

Blame the refs if y'all want, but giving up a 73 yard TD with less than 4 minutes to go and up by 13 is pure hot garbage.

We certainly had our fair share of mistakes. I won't argue that. We stopped them though, and we held. The refs gave them the game, sorry boss

If you say so. But we wouldn't have even been in a position to let the officiating dictate the game's outcome if we put them away 27-10 with 5 minutes to go. Make it a 3 possession game with 5 minutes to go is a kill-shot.

This is what great teams do, and we are certainly not a great team.

Yes, we made mistakes, agreed, but we did our job, and they gave them the ball back after we did it.

You can't put the loss on any one person, but the team as a whole just does not have any killer instinct. As soon as they get a good lead they stop playing.

I sorry but Brees should no longer be considered "elite", if we had Rodgers or Manning or Brady we would have won this game along with others this year. I am not saying Brees is done, but Brees is no longer a winning QB and he is no longer elite in my opinion.

Re: Officiating is why the Lions won this game.

A lot of you fans need to go to Atlanta, if you couldn't see that officiating cause the result of the game then you need to watch your intake on alcohol, the pi against bush wasn't the only bad call but the one on the rookie, the non calls on lions defense, the roughing the qb on 3rd down by cam. This game was total bs. If I am going to be critical and down my team, I am datum well going to stand up for them when it was obvious they were cheated. You people who blaming Bree or the coaching staff, I just want to know when have you seen the perfect game? Mistake gonna be made, but a great team overcome them, but how do you suppose to overcome them if the officials are against you? REAL SAINTS FAN STAND UP!!!!

you guys realize Brees went 0-10 on his last 10 throws... oh he had the pick too so maybe that counts...

Brees Brees Brees.... I grow tired of you. As a Saints fan I am used to awful QB play but Brees you are by far the most disappointing this season.

You do realize he had no time, right? The interception was a bad decision, but it was set up by pressure. He had no time and he was trying to make something happen. We did a great job giving him time in the first half, I think the Goodwin injury hurt a lot

I'm so sick and tired of this excuse. Yes he had pressure on some plays... as does every QB in the NFL... we are one of the least sacked teams.

To many Brees apologist and not enough are willing to criticizes him for anything.

What's it matter, none of us have the ability to bench him, cut him, trade him, or any other nonsense I've seen here...

Why get up in arms because another fan disagrees with how you feel?
