this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; It sounds like you are banking on some of the teams we play to suck worse than we do for a win other than the Saints being able to win....

Re: So We Are 2-4
Naw, man, I'm banking on the Saints going at least 6-4 from here on out with 6 out of our last 10 at home. Our remaining 4 road games are not against higher tier football teams either.
If we can't go 6-4 and step up our game just a little, then I feel sorry for this team and us fans. Discounting the Dallas game (another road game), our three losses came down to the final minute and overtime by a combined 6 points. All on the road. I still believe in this team. But I can gripe about them being underachieving morons until they prove me otherwise. |

The Steelers are NOT the Steelers we've known and got beat like a drum by the Browns last week and lost to our common opponent Tampon Bay. The Bengals are the Bengals. Start out 4-0, sometimes I've seen them 8-0, then start dropping games like it just doesn't matter. Steelers are away and Bengals and Ravens at home. Ravens are a very good team and could be the toughest of that bunch. 49ers will not have their reserves back from suspension when they play us. Green Bay will be tough, but the Saints MUST start somewhere and beating GB at home could really help start turning this season around. Just sayin. |

Re: So We Are 2-4
Why not? There isn't a single team on our schedule that I'd call dominant. They all have looked like crap at some point this season.
I'm disappointed in all the fair weather so called fans that follow our saints! What a bunch of yuppie bandwagoners who probably could tackle a math problem with a calculator! |

Re: So We Are 2-4
Some of you are assuming my (bold, I admit) prediction is predicated on what we've seen so far from our beloved team.
Rather I believe that Sean is going to figure out where the breaker box is, like he did in the dome when he messed up Roger's Super Bowl, only THIS time he's going to turn it on instead of turning it off. We are about to start playing much better. We aren't going to witness domination from here on out, but we are about to see a much improved team. So there. |

Re: So We Are 2-4
I see us going 8-8
Don't think we will beat the Packers this weekend although playing at home helps. I see us losing all away games except for the Panthers, so that's 1+3 more losses taking us to 8-8. 50/50 games are the Niners, Ravens and the Buccaneers (away). we could easily end up 7-9 or worst case (imo) of 6-10. |
