One last ? about the playoffs......
Sorry I know there have been tons of threads about the playoff scenarios, i just dont have the patience to search the negativity to find the answer. Is it true, that even if we win on Sunday vs. the Panthers, that St. Louis can win their game and kick us out of the playoffs by winning their division and kicking the seahawks to the 2nd wild card seed. Now does that Rams win have to be coupled with a Seahawks loss???? Thanks for the help guys..........

One last ? about the playoffs......
saintsfan1313...I believe that the Seahawks have to lose to the falcons and the Rams win against the Jets, and the that would make the Rams NFC West division champs, knock the Seahawks to wildcard status, therefore throwing the saints out due to the tiebreaker the Seahawks own over the Saints. Now there is also the Vikings, that in certain scenario\'s can help the Saints with a win over the Redskins. The best thing that can happen is the Rams go ahead and lose to the Jets. If that can happen all we have to do is beat the Panthers. \"I think\" If the Rams win and the Seahawks are victorious against the Falcons, Then at that point you would want to root for the Vikings over the Redskins, because if the Vikings were to lose, Then we would have a 3 way tie for the wildcard at 8-8, and after that it is to foggy for me to even comment on. I looked up a link for an NFL 3 way wild-card tie, and it sounded like some kind of BCS scenario or something. I hope that helps you out a little. |

I know on a 3way tiebreaker, they look at the conference record, which we all know will screw the saints. So basically we are going to be huge seahawk and J-E-T-S fans this weekend. Hope everything goes well, but knowing Saints luck, the rams will win, seahawks lose, and kick us out of the playoffs, even tho we win on sunday. Damn moonshiners are killin me!

Yeah,
Like we always hear...The Saints just have of take care of bussiness against the Panthers, and after that we will be checking the scoreboard \"Actually I guess I will be checking the scoreboards the whole game.\" I don\'t know..I just see the Jets taking care of the Rams, but like you said Who knows? Go Saints!!! |

Saints will handle their business but the Rams are a hard game to call..
Jets are backed against the wall but the Rams are at home(dangerous for any team) Both teams are in \"must win\" mode so I\'m sure it comes down to the wire. I\'m an advid Seahawk,Jet,and Vike fan this Sunday. GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!!!!! |

we first need the seahwaks to win. if that happens all we need is a win by the vikings who r playing washington without portis. but what would be easiest is for the jets to beat the rams and then the winner of us and carolina are in. if seattle looses and the rams win were out. if seattle wins and the rams win and the vikings loose were out. what we first need to do is beat carolina if we somehow can manage that then the easiest is for us to have the jets beat the rams and were in. i think the jest beat the rams this week. their backs are equally against the wall and in my opinion they are a better team and have something to prove this week.
