What a difference a week makes, eh?

O ye of little faith ... y'all know who you are, ;) ... lose a game by one point and you turn into Failclown fans (some of you, anyway, for crissake,), when in Detroit, football fans in the "know" realized (in the famous words of Adm. Isoroku Yamamoto), "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve." ... you know, kinda' like in the Godzilla movies,.

It was bound to happen, guys. Men like Drew Brees and Sean Payton don't suffer defeat and stay the course, regardless ... though I did lose some respect for SP, when in a weak moment, he blamed the refs. Meh, it happens,.

Now that your team's back, don't let it happen again ... still a lotta' football to be played, starting with Thursday Nite.

Continue to march, :).

What a difference a week makes
One hundred and sixty eight hours
Brought the sun and the flowers
Where there used to be rain.....

The least you could do for us was beat Atlanta.

I didn't watch it but it sounds like Detroit did it again in London, against Atlanta...whether these are scrappy Lions comebacks or the other team collapsing, they seem to be getting the job done.

Thanks, Slo. You are a class act. Good luck down the stretch (cepting when playing us of course ;-))

As you say, we shall see on Thursday night. I give us the edge.

It's like "bizarro world" in the NFC this year, ... Arizona bucking to be the first home team to play in a SB, Redskin's OT win last night ... the whole first half of the season has been whack,.

Man, just another one of those odd connections/coincidences I'm always seeing between NOLA/DET, ... the best part was the look on Melty Ice's face at the end,.

I admit I was going into the Green Bay game with the same anticipation that I had going to see Faces of Death in the theater. You just never know with this damn team.

Hey, SloMo...you're welcome, bro. We took care of GB for y'all.

As for Detroit beating the Fail Clowns, there are only 2 true ways that team from Georgia should be beaten:

1) they blow a big lead and they lose it in the last second
2) beat them by at least 8 TD's and not letting Whiny Ryan & that team of taterheads score 1 dang point.

Good luck to your boys from here on out.

Are their any backs in Detroit who didn't play for us first?

It's not that the Saints lost by one point; it is the WAY we lost by one point!

Yes. Theo Riddick, George Winn & Montell "hasn't played yet" Owens, but none that we really like, ;).

Well, wasn't my fault ... we all know Roger Goodell & the refs are in bed with the Detroit Lions in some evil conspiracy to propel them to the SuperBowl, ;) ... and now here you guys are, on top of the NFC South, with a remaining schedule that's just hard enough to keep you on your toes, but not so hard that you realistically couldn't do it and wind up in the postseason, where, if you meet the Lions, you'd probably beat 'em, eh? You see, when I refer to Detroit football fans "in the know", aside from mostly referring to myself,, I'm referring to a fan base that has seen a lot of bad football in it's day and what you got going on under Sean Payton & Drew Brees just ain't that bad, regardless of record or individual game outcomes, IMO. I'd go to war with those two any day, :) ... but I'd really prefer to look forward & not rehash Wk #7. If you guys could put another nail in Harbaugh's coffin it might go a long way into giving him some incentive to leave NFL coaching ranks, return to his alma mater & restore their program to it's former glory, :).
