... lose a game by one point and you turn into Failclown fans (some of you, anyway, for crissake,

), when in Detroit, football fans in the "know" realized (in the famous words of Adm. Isoroku Yamamoto), "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve." ... you know, kinda' like in the Godzilla movies,

It was bound to happen, guys. Men like Drew Brees and Sean Payton don't suffer defeat and stay the course, regardless ... though I did lose some respect for SP, when in a weak moment, he blamed the refs. Meh, it happens,

Now that your team's back, don't let it happen again ... still a lotta' football to be played, starting with Thursday Nite.

I didn't watch it but it sounds like Detroit did it again in London, against Atlanta...whether these are scrappy Lions comebacks or the other team collapsing, they seem to be getting the job done.

I admit I was going into the Green Bay game with the same anticipation that I had going to see Faces of Death in the theater. You just never know with this damn team.
