Yes, you can sit on your ass or stand placidly while the opponent's offense is on the field, but in doing so you, in my personal opinion, surrender all rights to criticize the efforts of the defense. Watch the Seahawks fans the next game. You will not see a single person not raising all grades of hell when their defense is on the field. Then watch the Saints crowd and you'll see one in every two simply taking up space being useless. |

I like to pretend I know something but the truth is if I were to have a conversation with any NFL Coach about how the game is played, I'd sound like an idiot. I just happen to know what I don't know. Most people refuse to believe what they don't know. I do visit the board a lot, I just don't post much. I just posted on this getting loud issue because it is the ONE thing fans can do to make a difference in the game. I try to make that difference. If others want to sit on their rear-end, I think they should just stay home or give their tickets to someone else. I don't understand why you go to a game if you aren't yelling. You can just watch it on tv at the house. |

The last I checked, the Seahawks have THE MOST pre-snap penalties for opposing teams. Why? Crowd noise. Their fans KNOW they can change the game. I think some season ticket holders are turning into the wine & cheese crowd like the Carolina fans. |

Perhaps the most endearing and entertaining quality of Black & Gold is the ability to take any thread, regardless of topic or direction, and somehow turn it into a "Falcons Suck" theme, .
