I have been with The Saints since Bum hung his hat in N.O. In my opinion with Deuce healthy, a fired up Aaron loading up Joe and Donte. The smart pick up of Mike McKenzie and the gelling of the defense, a surging special teams unit. This could be the formula for nailing Carolina. Also in my opinion, I think Jim has the smarts and guts to bring this team together.

I sure hope you\'re right RailBoss. As the weekend draws nearer, I sure would like to see us win.
But I can\'t get past the fact that our greatest weakness right now is on the Offensive line. Our tackles are playing horribly and I think it will be hard for Deuce to run, and McCarthy may have to come up with some scheme to roll Brooks out and move the ball around. I mean Brooks isn\'t going to have a lot of time with Peppers, Rucker and Bruckner practically hanging out in the huddle on every play. We have to stop that rush, for just a second. Simian Rice was almost untouched, uncontested in the Tampa game. Last week it was Travis Hall and Kearney for the Falcons. This game really may come down to whether Folou and Stinchcomb can hold their ends, if even for a short time, so Deuce can get out of the backfield and we don\'t have to run 2 tight end sets to assist the tackles. Just concerned about getting enough WR\'s downfield and whether Brooks will have any time to throw to them. That\'s what I am really concerned about. |

Last I heard Gandy was supposed to be trying to give it a go on Sunday. He\'s listed as \"questionable\" for the game (incidentally, so is Donte Stallworth), and that sounds like a \"the game\'s important enough that he\'ll play\" situation to me. He\'s only missed one start in his career, I think.
By the way, in the last meeting the Panthers only sacked Brooks once, even with him throwing the ball 40 times with Carolina knowing we weren\'t going to run the ball after (again) falling so far behind. |

halo as far as your concerns go im inclined to agree. i think our o line has major problems and has all year. we have to get deuce holes that is most important if we can do that then that should give brooks some help. if we cant get deuce going and/or we fall behind early it will be nearly impossible for us to win
