It kills me to think that we could be 7-1 and one of the best teams in the league. Although I think we're better off as underdogs. This team could get red-hot going into the post-season. Maybe those losses helped bring this team back where they needed to be. Still a lot of football left.

The only negative is the amount of hits on Brees. However we did overcome some nasty turnovers.

A great result. Really pleasing considering where we were two weeks ago. Sets me up for a great weekend too: Sean Payton and Drew Brees' autobiographies were delivered to my doorstep yesterday - I can't wait to get into them.

GREAT win - just what we needed!
That last TD drive reminded me of 2006 game against the Eagles where we ran off over 7 minutes, kicked a FG and beat them while their offense stood watching helplessly on the sidelines... |

Did anyone notice how Roman Harper forgot which team he was playing for and pop one of his own teammates DE 94, leaving him lying on ground in pain? I don't think I ever seen Harper hit anyone that hard. |
