i a round about way that maybe true. if he holds up and defenses are forced to adjust to the run the passing game should take off. been a long time since we had that effect on defenses. the OL and zone blocking is finally jelling also.

can the group of WR step for the first time this year or will it be the Jimmy show till he gets all beat up again?

If they step up as a group then yes we ride his battered body all the way there as the keep the defenses honest reason we made it.

but it is all up to the WR if that is work, Jimmy can only take so much abuse and a battered Ingram and his efforts will be all in vain

I like the sound of that. I also love the TEMPO of this offense when Ingram really gets going. It's slightly different from the Saints of yore. They're not fast, they're not super slow, they're just.... dominant. I think we could ride Ingram to a title, and I'd love it if the playoff games would all be like 2 1/2 hours long, go by really quick, so they're finished and over long before the other game's pregame show has even started...win and get it over with in a hurry. I love the idea of that.
