Roman Harper was obviously a valued and beloved member of the Saints’ locker room, and that’s great, and despite all the images of Roman Harper falling down somebody will probably make a successful case for him to become part of the Saints Hall of Fame one day.

I appreciate you, Roman Harper, but I’m glad the following images are of you missing tackles against the Saints and not for them.

I love how we abused the entire Carolina defense last night, but the focus is on 1 guy who played better than most Saints fans thought he would.

He was supposed to be constantly exposed in coverage, but really wasn't at all.

The Harper hate sounds petty and ignorant to me.

I can tell you pretty simply why he's being singled out. Because unlike any other Carolina defender on that roster, Harper is a former Saint, and he's a guy a lot of "wise" people tried to act like we would miss. That somehow he would haunt us. And that idea was shown to be foolish. It's nothing personal against Harper, but he plays for the other side now and I have no sympathy for that reason. He's not that good of a player. He's a role player who people keep trying to make a starter.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Apparently Harper was a stand up guy, so I can't get any SchadenFreude about an article dedicated to calling him out. But that is the league and the media for you...

Nice moves by our boys though in those plays. Good stuff.

Harper was the one dude that actually helped the young guys in the Saints secondary & with Jimmy Graham. Harper was and still is a true professional. Harper came in as a rookie in 2006 and started right away, and was also a starter for our 2009 Super Bowl-winning team.

The whole Carolina defense missed tackles and blew coverages all night. No need to single out Harper for his miscues last night. He moved on, we moved on...really no need to celebrate his mistakes.

Lol @ this thread. I don't hate Harper but I do find it a little funny. He does play for a division rival now after all. At the end of the day dude isn't going to cry because he whiffed on some tackles. It happens.
