It seemed as if it was destiny for the New Orleans Saints to win the superbowl in the 2015 season. By looks of the roster this was the best team the Saints have EVER had.

What would you say this teams record should be 10 weeks into the season? Certainly not 4-5. We have the personnel, so what is wrong with our team?

I'd say most of us expected something around a 7-2 record, this season is probably going to make me feel less excited when we sign or draft any players in future because I'll always remember how good of a team we had this year and how disappointing it turned out to be.

I think losing sproles has hurt Brees because he no longer has a check down for when he's blitzed which means he's forcing more on third down, which is strange because we have a dominant run game this year.

I saw a stat last week that said he has the worst QB rating when blitzed this season

I also think the players enjoyed too much of a laid back training camp in greenbrier, we always came out of the gates strong when we trained in NOLA

The D line has been underachieving and Kenny vaccaro is the worst starting safety in the NFL
we only have one decent CB and our secondary is full of guys that don't understand coverage concepts.

We have been inconsistent on offense and on defense this year and unfortunately at different times. Early on our defense was an abomination and we still had a chance to win a couple of games. Had our defense come out the way we played last year or even the level they are at now we would have won a couple early. And lately it's been turnovers and poor decisions/execution offensively that have let games escape. Even with elevated defensive play lately we have found ways to let games slip away.

We could honestly and easily be 7-2 right now and be looking at this season in a far different light. We have lost the tiny percentages in each game that we used to win consistently.

As much as I wanted to beat San Fran and we needed that game, losing an OT game to an opponent that has gone to the last 3 conference championship games is no huge shame.

We just have to come back and win these next two home games and get above .500 and make a run at this division title. If we can host a wild card anything can happen from there.

Self inflicted wounds. We're doing it a lot, other NFC South teams aren't, and we're still in 1st place.

We are a much better team than anyone in our division and we're as talented as any in the league.

If we can remove our head from our own ass we can and will beat any team in the league. Unfortunately right now its firmly in place and doesn't seem to wanna budge.

Glad you have confidence in him because I sure don't, all he says after every loss is "I don't know what went wrong, we'll try to clear it up"

Then we ending losing the exact same way the following week.
