Re: Should heads roll?

By cap numbers

We have the 8th highest spending on the o-line with two players eating up most of it.

16th highest spending on WR,though are best two are o rookie deals

27th highestest paid D-line

22nd LB

22nd CB

As things stand next year

1st QB
13th WR
2nd TE
11th O-Line

total offenseive cap 1st 83ml
With Brees,Evans,Grubbs and Colston eating over 45ml in cap

4th D-line
12th LB
1st Safety
22nd CB

4th overall defense

All them back loaded deals going to blow any chance a rebuild till 2016,or they will just extend and back load them more and more

We're TOAST

Re: Should heads roll?

Payton gives play-calling duties to OC Carmichael so Payton can concentrate on trying to extinguish what is becoming a dumpster fire for this "team".

A personnel move that I think would benefit this offense is that Goodwin sits and watches Lelito until the end of the season.

The defense? Ugh...where to start?

And on a personal note, I'd love, love, love to see that glue-sniffing moron McMahon sent packing and give the Special Teams unit a coordinator who knows what the crap they're doing.

The whole team deserves blame, Not a fan of Payton or Rob Ryan anymore

I think they both need to be let go.

Dizz I love ya, but they were the worst d because they were fairly banged up. They are getting a bit more healthy, so try to calm down a bit.

That said, the offense looked like **** today and the main reason is our oline.

They were ready. 1st down obvious runs didn't fool anyone.

McMahon couldn't do anything with Sproles last year and yet he is a return machine in Philly. wtf?

The o line sucked and we couldn't run the ball but the pass protection was there for most of the day. Payton with his play calling and game management lost this from the offensive side. Why wasn't Drew in no huddle in the 4th qtr. Down by 3 scores and no sense of urgency. I think payton has lost the team because they aren't responding to him. Payton's play calling has been predictable all season.

We are horrible in all aspects of the game this year. Its no secret that since 2006 we have relied on the offense to carry this team even during the superbowl year. Now...you don't know what you are going to get from our offense. It doesn't surprise me though...we don't strike fear in even the worse defenses. We have no deep threat...our highest ypc this year is Meachem with 17. We used to put up 40 at home...

Special teams...what the hell....he has to be the worst coach ever! We have no return game at all...

Defense...get your heads out the ground!!! They can't pressure the QB...I don't know what our safeties do but it has nothing to do with making a play....i can't tell you how many times I've seen Vaccaro standing flat footed only to watch the ball fall at his feet.

We just look like an team with no identity...no drive...I don't know where we go from here but we need an overhaul from top to bottom...

In all fairness the lack of the deep ball has more to do with our line not providing enough time, so we dinks it and dunks it. When they played their best we took some shots down the field again.
