this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm not buying it. I see nothing that leads us to a win. Sorry to say that, but that's what my tea leaves are telling me....

Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
This is already starting to look a LOT like last year, where we had plenty of chances to seal the deal and secure the division & home field, over and over, but we kept dropping games and procrastinating, and they just couldn't get it done, like a plane trying to take off that eventually ran out of runway...feels like I have seen this movie before.

you think Steve Smith will possibly be enthusiastic?
I don't want to see Keenan out there destroying his knee guarding him Corey, Robinson and Dixon don't stand a chance we better score early and often |

First guy I thought of. Smith will want to have a big game against us probably even more than against the Panthers.
HAVE TO get pressure on Flacco. I think every home game now is a must win for any chance at the division. No pressure on Flacco with the state of our defensive backfield = Disaster. |

If we can't beat the Ravens in N.O. it will be very hard to beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Win vs. Ravens, hope for the best against the Steelers, and win out afterwards to take the NFCS and host a playoff game. Falcons and Saints both 5-1 in the division.

Another thing that has my concerned: Baltimore's Special Teams. Considering our spec teams units are coordinated by the drooling idiot McMahon, kick returns flipping the field position or actually scoring TDs will break this game wide-open...in Baltimore's favor. Got a feeling this is that one game per year where we out-play them on both offense & defense but get destroyed in special teams to keep this game much closer than it should be. And considering how bad we are in close games this year...well, crap. |
