Signing two interior linemen (i.e. Wisniewski and Boling as I humbly suggested) will shore that unit up and secure the investment at QB... Regarding cornerback, the talent only got better in that unit after a good season and then dropped off?!? That tells me scheme, coaching, communication fell off and was addressed with Allen... For Payton to have made changes there, even with someone electively leaving, and then bringing back Allen, former head coach, should be telling... Really, really believe we've got the talent, depth to compete in that unit and have faith in Dennis Allen and his abilities to turn that unit around... The line of scrimmage must be won above all else and the interior offensive line and the pass rush should be the priority... |
