Re: 2015 draft??
Scherff at 13? ben grubbs? who's that? Perryman at 31? i still can not get on this band wagon for a 34 defense. if iam going small and athelic at 31 it would be Eric Kendricks. even then i worry about a 3 man front but he is all about instincts plan and simple mine have not changed Benardrick McKinney - field general. Jake Fisher - #3 OT - polished swing man, ready go right out of the box Kevin Johnson - #3 CB - dependable, steady no hype. ready to go Stephone Anthony - #2 ILB - talk about a sky rocket off season then you have what i think is the biggest tease in the draft. i can see why we would make such a pick. tease is just too tempting not to go for it Arik Armstead - freak show crown of 2015 DeVante Parker - true #1 WR. hands and a route tree already to go Kevin White - #2 rout tree? i do not see one Amari Cooper - #1/slot i think he will be one of the best slot WR the NFL so i can live with Parker - Red flag foot injury. they come back to haunt you. Thus Cooper is the only one of the three i would go after.

also ANALYSIS STRENGTHS Burly, stout, old-school linebacker build. Wants to hit and brings his pads with him when he delivers a blow. Delivers a jarring punch into oncoming offensive linemen on second level. Defends his area of turf and sees past blockers, keeping his eye trained on the play. Is able to disengage and shed blockers. Plays low and with leverage. Once he diagnoses, can trigger into gaps and disrupt. Expected to be productive special-teams player at the next level. WEAKNESSES Not a twitchy athlete. Takes time to gear up after changing directions and can struggle to tackle jitterbug runners in space. Heavy-legged mover in space and struggles to make plays outside of his assigned area. Lacks coverage traits and is a liability in man coverage. . Short levers won't allow him to leverage blockers as a pass rusher. Slow to get off his spot and burst laterally, which causes him to miss some tackle opportunities. SOURCES TELL US "He's physical and plays angry at the point of attack. He's the type of guy you like having on your team because he brings toughness to practice. He's going to lay the wood to ball carriers when he gets a chance but college teams were already finding ways to go after him in the passing game." -- AFC East regional scout "I have a little higher grade on Perryman than I probably should, but we like thumpers and badasses inside and he's both." -- AFC director of scouting NFL COMPARISON D'Qwell Jackson BOTTOM LINE Early down linebacker who can make plays against the run but will struggle if isolated in coverage. Perryman is a lunch-pail worker who enjoys the physical part of the game. Can be a highly productive NFL player but ceiling looks to be limited. Really not sure what to think here to be honest, like him and what he brings but are we looking at another Lofton |
"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

Re: 2015 draft??
There is something there isnt there
We are due to loose all three of our DE at the end of the season and if we are staying 3-4 we need rotation there at least. I have a feeling we go back to 4-3 though, not sure why. I can see Ryan going unless we are a top 5 defense and i can see Allen pushing a 4-3. |
