If anybody remembers the last game of the 2002 season when the Panthers came to our house fired up & beat us to eliminate the Saints from the playoffs? (It's awesome that we returned the favor today.) That carried over to the 2003 season when they went to the Super Bowl. I am just as crushed as anyone about the Saints not making the playoffs this year but this is the first offseason in a while that I feel really good about our team. I hope Haslett & Benson make the right changes in the front office & Coaching staff. I also hope that we make some good moves on Free Agents on some of the positions that we need starters at and use the draft for depth, special teams, & give them a year or two to learn the NFL game. I really hope before the Super Bowl this year that Benson & Loomis wake up & take care of Duece (Show him the MONEY!) and save some for Mike McKenzie cause without him I don't think our D turns it around this year. I also hope that Haslett coaches everyday from now on like he is getting fired. I would also like to say how proud of the Saints (these past 4 weeks) that I am. Most teams in the past would have folded (see Mora & Ditka's record thier final year) Haslett coached his ass off & the team played their hearts out. And by the way which QB was that fumbling out there today? O yeah I almost forgot GET RID OF VENTURI & SULLIVAN! Heres to a interesting offseason!
