this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Maybe they use the three saftey look with Warren playing deep and have Vaccaro and Ball/Sanford roaming the box. Either way I'm glad he's back....

Re: Pierre Warren Signed
If Warren makes any impact the fans will be screaming "WHY DID WE EVER LET HIM GO?"

We let him go because we had Byrd, Bush and Sunseri at FS. IIRC Warren isn't known for special teams at all and typically your 4th and 5th safeties must play special teams well. So it was a pretty easy call to keep Sunseri over Warren, especially since Sunseri can play FS, SS and excels on special teams. |

Vikings Sign Dominique Williams to Practice Squad, Lose Pierre Warren
Vikings Sign Dominique Williams to Practice Squad, Lose Pierre Warren - The Viking Age - A Minnesota Vikings Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and more. Bush a FS ? more like a SS with hints of FS in his game. well at least the saints are addressing an area of need with a player that has skill set which in itself is a huge move them. now i can not wait to see what happens next. this is getting exciting don't ya think Even if Warren does just OK this would be a big blow to Rob Ryans love base. wouldn't it? nah blinded by love |

Re: Pierre Warren Signed
The revolving door or personnel is a bit unsettling, especially since we aren't signing anyone from our own PS
