If we did get in at 6-10 I would not be surprised if we got deep in the playoffs. The chip on the shoulder of being invited to a black event where everybody looks at you like the homeless guy who got picked off the street...morale is a dangerous thing.

So if we actually win some of the remaining games we figured we would lose (since we have lost games we all figured we would win), take the division (because we still have the best chance at that), hang another division title in the Dome, and begin the post-season by hosting a first round playoff game, am I not still supposed to be excited?

Because I will still be pulling for the Saints, yes even if we head into Tampa at season end without a chance in hell of taking the division, because I AM a Saints fan.

I felt we would win 1 of the 3 AFC North games so Steelers get upset and we go to 5-7. Afterwards, we run the table and go 5-1 in the division with a 9-7 record, a winning record, and host a playoff game after winning the NFCS. It's not the team we all hoped for, granted, but I'm with Mardigras9.

The good thing about being a Saints fan is that you never know whats going to happen next, so there is always a chance of getting something done whilst its still mathematically possible.

I know we are all disappointed at the moment, but we still have a chance and the season isn't done yet! :-)

More like a vision. When Brees threw that last pick 6 I threw the remote, it bounced off a wall and hit me in the side of the head...
