I was going to go with us winning the division at 7-9, but I changed at the last minute.

I think we wrap up the division in week 16 with a smoking record of 6-9 and rest players in week 17. The Bucs squeak past us in a rainstorm as Shayne Graham shanks a 25 yard game winner.

Saints finish 6-10 as NFC South Champs and host the Seahawks in the playoffs!!!

Well this will be the third time I have changed my season prediction.

Started at 13-3

Went to 10-6

Now Ill say we go 8-8 and win the division. We lose our next 2 games then close the season out with 4 wins in a row.

That being said I could completely see your 6-10 occurring.

I do like our odds of playing Seattle at home then going to ARZ. We match up well with the Cardinals.

I think we go 8-8, but I really think we can go 9-7 if we can beat the Ravens on MNF. Those last 4 games are about as cake a schedule as you can get to end the season.

That's what I'm thinking ... if the Lions got enough juice to squeak out a wildcard berth ... Bears are getting up steam, Packers are rolling ... Detroit could very well wind up third in that division, :neutral:.

8-8 final losses come at Tampa and Pittsburgh. We host the Superbowl Champion Seahawks for the ultimate twist of events and defeat them 43 - 23.

We then beat The Cardinals in AZ and face Dallas for the NFL championship game

I still can't escape from the crazy paranoid belief that the tie which Carolina has in their record, is going to come back into play and frick us up somehow.

Saints end up 7-9, Carolina is 7-8-1 and wins the division. By beating us, the Vikings, and the Browns. It's not that far fetched. If a team has a long history of not being able to hold onto leads or close out close games, like this one does, then every matchup becomes shaky at best. But we'll have to wait and see who shows up.

Secondary is beat up. Playing scrubs. No pass rush. No playmakers on D. Colston can't catch. Cooks is out. Can't finish games. 6-10. Miss the playoffs by a game.

Coach Payton says its a 6 game season.

I can see it being a 4 game season.

Something tells me 8 days from now the standings will be:

Falcons 4-8
Saints 4-8
Panthers 3-8-1
Bucs 2-10

But we win it in the end due to our schedule. 7-9 playing it out or 6-10 resting starters in week 17

6-10 win division. Out of desperation, Payton finally unleashes Morgan on the NFL and he shines. in the playoffs, Payton finally commits to the run and Ingram carries us like he did for Bama. Morgan is superbowl MVP catching 2 long TDs. Brees retires victorious. Graham signs with the Cleveland Cavaliers and can dunk daily-no flags. Payton realizes a team with no former LSU players will never succeed. Arizona is stockpiling former LSU players and have NFLs best record. On the radar-Kenny Hilliard-6th RD possible. La'el Collins-1st RD.

I had us losing to the Ravens anyway. Our next 2 losses will be against the Steelers and the Bears. Beginning to think the Buccs is a 50/50 game now too.

I am sticking to my 7-9 call but could very easily be 6-10.

That seriously would not hurt my feelings 1 bit. The way we have played we in no way shape or form even remotely deserve to make the playoffs, I would much rather look at the draft at this point and time to fix what is broken.

Sorry, but no way.

If by some mathematical quirk tiebreaker we could make the playoffs at 4-12 I would take it.

Sure we're going to get destroyed by anyone with a QB not on the Jets or Raiders, but you have ZERO chance of winning it all if you don't make the playoffs.

And worrying about the draft??? Anyone really think that there are 1-2 top 40 draft picks that are going to fix THIS defense??? I don't.

WIN EVERY GAME YOU CAN SAINTS. No sense in worrying about next season until we are officially eliminated.

At this point all we are eliminated from is HFA.

At this point I almost hope we don't make the playoffs. The last thing we need is a ****ty draft pick for being one and done in the playoffs. Also, the history of the NFCS; winning team never repeats.

Can you imagine the outrage of Goodell if we made the playoffs at 6-10 then won the Super Bowl?

He'd never let it happen. He'd be screwing with events faster than Vince McMahon if we even won a single playoff game with that record...

I don't see our D being able to stop anyone else for the rest of the season, as soon as teams come out with 3 WR's we are pretty much dead already

Then factor in that Brees throws a pick 6 nearly every game and our O line is full of guys that should be in nursing homes, big changes need to be made

Payton can't start blaming everyone else, he's the HC, sort it out!
