Re: FORSETT vs Saints D...
Last night was the perfect example of why a 3-4 defense gets owned if the other team has a great zone-blocking scheme and the OL to execute it. And Kubiak's the master of it. It wasn't even bad tackling last night, it was just running lanes galore.

Side note: Was trying to find defensive stats, came across this gem. Another clear sign of terrible #2&3 CBs. "Though only targeted five times Robinson surrendered four catches and missed a tackle on Torrey Smith on two of those plays. The first came on an out route allowing Smith to add yards to a third down conversion early in the fourth quarter before he let Smith get away from him over the middle of the field on the Ravens final drive converting long yardage into a manageable third-and-two." https://www.profootballfocus.com/blo...aints-week-12/ |

Re: FORSETT vs Saints D...
I fought all the Ryan doubters up until now. We are killed by injuries but it's still obvious that he has no idea how to re-scheme with new players. Every team has injuries, maybe not this many, but injuries. So we need a D-Coordinator that can change schemes and call smarter plays on crucial downs.
I think we have to get a new D-Coordinator next year. Anyone have any ideas of potential coaches for the job if the Saints decide to go in that direction. |

Forsett set the tempo for that game.....we were on our heels the entire game. Our LB'ers are sub standard. We certainly need another NT but what we really need are good LBer's. Dear Lord please get me some LB'ers.
LB'ers....get me some LB'ers! Oh, and smite my enemies. Amen. |

Re: FORSETT vs Saints D...
John Jenkins was getting pushed around like a 240# nose tackle and running like a 425# nose tackle. With Bunkley gone we will see a lot more of this loser. It's gonna be a long game at the Steelers next week. Look for ANOTHER RB to have a career day. The worst part about the DL and LB's, they have all been at the top of the depth chart since pre-season. These are the guys they wanted from the beginning. I only see four worth saving. Hicks, Jr, Jordan and Lofton a back-up.

I'll bet they work on that with him all week. I suspect he'll play pretty well against the Steelers next week. Just a hunch. |

Bunkley was injured and Jenkins was a terrible replacement. At one point Gruden said that the Saints needed to get him off the field he was so bad.

Re: FORSETT vs Saints D...
Bell is a patient runner with great vision. Way better than any other RB from last years draft class. (don't like Lacy)
It would take a miracle to be decent against the run on sunday. Big boys need to show up or it will be easy 150+ yds 2 tds for Bell. |
