Just one more thing...
OR a few more...
I have to get some stuff off my chest. Loved what the team did this last month. 4 Straight wins is amazing. Everyone was finally united and the team played like each and every guy mattered... Not stats or contracts. Next, I am so depresses it's over. For the reason I don't get to watch this team together again... ever. I enjoyed this team. Even in the bad, they had some colorful players. My biggest fear is the (once again) the wrong guys will be let go. Darren Howard needs to be re-signed. The three man DE rotation is revolutionary. Joe Horn, re-negotiate. Mike McKenzie - new contract. Some BAD, Why is Haz so cocky NOW? Where was this guy week 1-12? I see how after the game, Haz gave the game ball to the entire team and said, "to the best HS team in the nation." As if vindicated by another non-playoff year. 8-8 sucks Haz... Remember that. Sure I don't agree with our GM or owner publicly comig out and condemning the team and coaching staff... But, (judging by the wya we finished up)apparently someone had to do it. So why now? Why so cocky Haz? Hopefully, we have all learned. The truth is, this 4-0 run won't be wasted If we can come out and continue to play well next year. If not, the players lied to themselves. Case in point, after a stellar 1996 season: the Denver Broncos lost to JAX in the divisional playoff. How did they respond? By winning two straight SuperBowls. If we don't battle for the division next year, then this 4-0 finish is lost. I'm going to miss football. Can't wait for the draft. |
