Bunkley out for season?

A source tells NFL Network that Saints NT Brodrick Bunkley tore his quad Monday night and is almost certainly done for the season.

Bunkley was a rotational run-plugger for Rob Ryan, playing on 37 percent of the snaps. The nine-year veteran finishes with 17 tackles and no sacks.

He wasn't great, but he was the best DT we had.

We so much meat and talent on the front line. I just can't understand why we can't win in the trenches this year.

Thats not good,John Jenkins was abused at times last night. The big man needs to start using that bulk to stop the run. On the plus side his best games last year were when we relied on him to play more snaps.

Worth trying a 4-3

Jenkins played well when called on last year. He may be one of those players like Ingram that need a lot of reps to get going. Regardless, we have to get production from him no matter how many snaps he gets.
