Okay. I have seen him. It would be nice to have a shot at him. What do you guys think about this? If Johnson is off the board and we have a shot at Antrell Rolle at Dallas\' pick(Parcels has said he will not take a corner that high) what do you guys think about a sign and trade of Howard to Dallas(they need a pass rusher) to swap firsts and we get their second also. Meaning we can draft Rolle, move Howard and have two seconds to pursue lb and safety. Good idea? Bad idea?

I would be happy with either Carlos Rodgers or Antrelle Rolle at 16. Wouldn\'t trade up to get either. Knowing this management we will be picking David Pollack since he is from Georgia and he is not an area of need.
I swear one more bad draft and I quit. Does anyone have the link to that states Brooks isn\'t coming out? |

No way Johnson will be on the board at 11, which is Dallas\' first pick. Rolle possibly. We have a better shot there. Unless we wanna give up our first and Howard for nothing except another first in return, then we could possibly move up for Johnson. 16 isn\'t terrible though, still seems like we will be just out of the elite again though. And I would like to somehow pick up an extra second and Howard would be that ticket.

Did I miss something? We can\'t trade Howard unless we resign him.
Last year, I was one of those \"we need a CB now\" guys. This year, I think I\'m a \"we need a LB now\" guy. However, IF we cannot get one of the top three LBs, then I\'m going to be a \"get a DT now\" guy. The LBs aren\'t the only ones responsible for our shiety run D. I\'m still not convinced that O needs to be addressed until we have a DT and one or two LBs in the fold. I think Brooks is serviceable, our WRs are serviceable. We DO need OTs in the biggest way, but we can get by if we keep Gandy and get a serviceable RT. That said, I am open to argument here. Also, for all the \"dump Stallworth\" guys, I don\'t think I buy that just yet either (but I\'d be happy to hear argument here too). Obviously, Horn was very productive, but I am currently of the opinion that Stallworth being on the field helped Joe get more opportunities. When Stallworth started showing flashes (around mid-season I think), Horn also picked up a lot. Isn\'t it possible that teams, though not having to key on Stallworth\'s speed, at least started having to respect his possibility of making a big play? Certainly, this would help Horn. Stallworth\'s real problem is that he has been unable to adjust to Brooks\' rocket passes - this is a problem, but it doesn\'t make him a bad WR on its own. |

Keeps him from hitting the open market. But... 1. Someone has to want him. 2. A deal must be worked out for all 3 sides. 3. We won\'t come out ahead. 4. We will at least get something for him. |

Thanks Whodi.
I must be a little rusty still. I was honestly just checking on whether or not I\'d missed something. Cheers. (I hear that it has been a bit of a hornets\' nest around here the last week or so? I\'m not so sure I\'ll have time to read everything I missed, so let me know if there are any no-no topics of late.) |

It\'s pretty high risk, but I\'m open to franchising Howard and then shopping him.
I wonder if KC would be willing to give up 2 #1\'s for him? |
