Re: Saints looking at Rice?
Of coarse we are looking at a rb. instead of a lb. I like Rice, but only if Ingram is to high next season would I consider making this move and only if he would be dirt cheap. There will be some backs that are good in the late rounds of this years draft along with some gem UDFA.

Re: Saints looking at Rice?
I get it, Rice is still only 27 and at the very least could be a Sproles replacement that has been sorely missed this year.

Re: Saints looking at Rice?
I was one of the fans that initially didn't want Rice on the team, but Robinson has been out for at least a month.
Ingram and PT are both banged up. Cadet is taking up a roster spot. I don't remember any reports about Rice being a problem when he was with the Ravens. I know it will be a PR nightmare for the Saints, or any team that signs him, but the Saints would have a Duece McAllister style RB. Get rid of some of the deadwood and lets sign a player that has some fire in his belly! |

Re: Saints looking at Rice?
Rice was done a year ago. I don't know what are they thinking and are they actually watching his game tape. If they indeed watched his 2013 game tape I would like to know what kind of drug they used that day...

Re: Saints looking at Rice?
We've got PT and Rice doesn't have that burst that we need...
We're now being thrown in with the Raiders as the black sheep of the league and I'm not sure Rice helps things... |

Re: Saints looking at Rice?
I'm not opposed to it. We don't need one this year though. Either PT or Ingram will not be here so we will have room and we could Def get him cheap.
