Re: Mark Ingram approaching 1000 yards
I am proud of Mark. I have not been a fan and did not think he would ever be dominant on this team. He hung in there and has shut me up. I still don't think he is worth a big contract. They will find someone else to step up.

Re: Mark Ingram approaching 1000 yards
Ingram performs better when he gets into a rhythm. This year due to injuries he has carried the ball more despite the games he missed due to the broken thumb, I would say 1,000 plus yards to end the regular season would be awesome.

Re: Mark Ingram approaching 1000 yards
I like Mark and I hope he stays a Saint, but I have a feeling somebody's gonna want him a lot more than we do. I think he deserves big money, but Saints running backs don't make big money. Bet they let him go and keep the rest, with a few non drafted free agents next year.

Re: Mark Ingram approaching 1000 yards
I've been one of his critics and I never did like the pick. But since the end of last season and this whole season to date (except when injured) he's been outstanding. No crow eating because I think the criticism was valid.
As far as re-signing him, it depends on what it costs. He definitely become an asset but he's not irreplaceable. |

Re: Mark Ingram approaching 1000 yards
Anybody notice that he's on the injury report with the toe being listed as one of the problems. That concerns me. He's been gimping around on that toe his whole career.
