I'm proud of the Saints
After watching the Saints for the better part of the season, I was ahamed of the players, coaches and everything else that was Saints related.
But after watching the last 4 or 5 games, I could't be more pround of them. Especially for coming out and punching the Panthers in the face. We totally dominated Jake and the Panthers for most of the game. I'm also proud of the coaching staff for getting this team turned around. Some fans are never going to be happy with Haslett and Brooks around. I hope both return next year. |

I am proud of them also -- and the turnaround does make me believe we should give Haz and AB one more year. But if they don\'t do it all next year and not just the last few games then I say get rid of Haz. And if AB doesn\'t stop blaming everyone else on the team and not take ownership of his own play then I say dump him

I'm proud of the Saints
I got news for everybody. AB didn\'t light it up this year, but he didn\'t stink it up either compared to years past. If our defense played all season like weeks 14-17, we\'re hosting a playoff game. Goodbye, Venturi.

I'm proud of the Saints
hey i think some of the changes in persoanel on d helped. i liked the way we played and it gives me more hope then usual going into the offseason. i just hope it doesnt hurt again next year because we come out the same way again. hopefully this was really a year to build off of. not just the usual year with the same results the following. but my hats off to the players n coaches for playing better and not just laying down. at least they came and played the way they did against carolina because i thought we were going to loose badly. ill take it for now

I'm proud of the Saints
I went against my better judgment around week 10 and argued we should keep Haslett if he could show some potential. I didn\'t exactly expect him to (and whether or not he DID is very arguable), but I\'ll stick with my guns and welcome ol\' Haz back next year.
Leon, on the other hand, continues to unimpress (and lately infuriate) me. I\'m still keeping my ear open for trade rumors... And before the hands-on-hips, finger-wagging \"well, who are we gonna replace him with\" stuff starts, read back... |

I'm proud of the Saints
I am not particuarly proud of a team that didn\'t beat a single team over 500 (and don\'t gimme crap on ATL\'s third string), lost to four teams under 500 and had the worst defense in the league by a longshot. There were so many inexcusable events during the course of the season that it is a true wonder that Benson didn\'t grab the entire John Curtis team and field them instead.
Get rid of the coordinators, get rid of Brooks, sign a QB who can read and draft a decent LB, OT and Saftey. As an option, sign and trade Howard for some help rather than lose him for nothing... And make life hell on anyone in the organization who doesn\'t feel that it\'s his life\'s work to crush the soul of the opponent. |
