It’s not about being tied for the top spot (or at the moment just below it) in the NFC South standings. It’s about whether the Saints are a good team or not. And right now, as has been the case most of this season, the Saints truly are not. For the Saints, Sunday’s game will live in infamy. The Carolina Panthers came to town, having failed to win a game for exactly two months, and turned the Saints into an early Christmas bonfire on the levee in a 41-10 rout. The dome is still hallowed ground, we just have to get it back to it. This season has (is) about what that piece of paper amounts to ( you know the 1 that said we were the best team on paper) bad. I have chalked this season to be a very good learning expierience, never trust stats and don't believe the hype until the hype is produce. Have the Saints let me down? No, they just did not meet my expectations, plain and simple. There has to be changes made that Payton has to make. I would hate to be him right about now!!

I said this a couple months ago. This just isn't a very good football team this year. All expectations should be out the window. Even if we win one more game and win the division, we will still be a bad team. Plain and simple.
At any rate, nobody said being a fan would be easy. Time to honker down and see how deep the rabbit hole goes this year. |

Wonder if anyone still wants Jimmy Graham for a first rounder?
The rams maybe? |
