One thing to consider is that the Saint's were able attract free agents who wanted a chance for a ring. For almost a decade the Saints have been able to claim to be one of the few teams that, year after year, had a really good chance of making it to the Super Bowl.
It's going to take a few years or more to rebuild that rep. |
