Saints Benching Kenny Vaccaro

And here I was thinking that Kenny V was the only one who could actual make a tackle on defense. I'm kind of calling it BS as well.

Go find a game this season...ANY GAME and compare missed tackles to actual tackles from him then return to this thread.

Elam has now missed 12 tackles this season, which is tied with New Orleans Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro for most by an NFL defensive back. Elam's missed tackles are five more than any other Ravens player.

If Payton wants to evaluate younger players then the backups need more playing time. If all he wants to do now is win then don't bench everybody......just reduce their playing time a little and work in the inexperienced players and get some film on them to evaluate this off season.

He could bench Goodwin for Lelito and actually improve the O-line.

At this point I would just start playing anyone who has raw potential and we have as a work in progress. Throw them in and see how they handle it.
We can't get much worse and missing the playoffs at this point isn't that big a deal. The only thing getting in the playoffs will do for us is ensure we get a crappie draft pick.
