if its true I saw what play paytons making the call on. it was a running play and vacro was just standing there following the the guy teammate trying like hell to bring down runner and vacro just watchs him extend the play 10 more yards. I remember screaming my ass off for him to get in there and help. a lot of standing around letting someone else make the tackle. pyton wont stand for that . what happen to vacro? the injury for 1 and has to be scared to be out nfl in 3-4 years. retirement is after 5 years in the nfl I believe?

Ironic that Vaccaro went into this season wanting a more simplified role instead of showcasing the versatility he was drafted for because he wanted to think less and just make plays... Then he becomes one of the worst safeties in the league and getting benched.

put in some one who at least will play 100%.

Has Sincerie played in a game yet? Do to work and the fact that we just flat out suck I have missed the end of a few games this year. Sucks. Only thing worse than the Saints sucking is not being able to watch.

So Katherine Terrell is now inside the Saints meeting rooms? Probably a decent guess but no quotes. All speculation it seems to me. FWIW I hope its true. Shake it up.

The Saints haven’t officially announced any roster changes.

All I am saying is that there is no way Payton would call up the reporters and tell them this so this is all guessing games and speculation. I would like to see him and a few others benched (Graham).

I disagree. When has Payton ever benched anyone for quitting on plays? I can't recall it ever happening & if you ask me, it's pretty significant. What makes you think he'd play, much less play a lot?

I really hope Brees was one of the 10 the coach had a talk with. He has done plenty to warrant a little criticism. You can't hold your players to a higher standard than you do your QB. If anything you hold your Qb to a higher standard as the rest of the team. Players need to know that nobody is above getting a pass for poor play and Brees has contributed just as much to our losses as any other player.

Question - if the locker room attitude is as bad as Strief says, does a benching matter to any of these pros when the cash keeps rolling on???

Probably not but it does to someone on their rookie contract. Not many of our D players are locked in, only the good players have long-term deals. Even JR can be cut next year without dead money.

The benching means nothing if he is active on game day, sorry Payton your not fooling anyone by benching him for the first play of the game lol... deactivate him or I call the bluff.

If Kenny has been benched for undisciplined play (as per the reports) does that mean that Junior will be benched next? He should be.

I sure Mike Bell is somewhere thinking ," I got cut for wearing the wrong cleats". Payton needs to rule with an iron fist again. He got alot more respect then than players just quitting on him now.

And here I was thinking that Kenny V was the only one who could actual make a tackle on defense. I'm kind of calling it BS as well.
