Doubt that trying out kickers strikes fear in the hearts of other players..

Then why not try out O lineman and D lineman and Tight Ends and Linebackers?

Because those positions have pretty much been picked clean this late in the season; I doubt there are players at those positions who could even make the practice squad...

but just because there are kickers available doesn't mean that getting a new one will do anything for us

Champ Bailey, Greer, Vilma, Josh Freeman, Tim Tebow, Charles Godfrey and Michael Sam and a slew of others are all available also... not saying they would help, but neither will a new kicker
