Re: 5 Reasons the New Orleans Saints will beat the Bears

Just because Cutler throws a lot of interceptions, doesn't mean the Saints defense will actually catch them...they got 2 against the Steelers but there were easily 5 or 6 errant balls in that game that they could have gotten their hands on...

The Bears offense are 40.6% in 3rd down efficiency, which as we've seen before, is plenty good enough to beat this Saints defense most of the time....the real turnover question is not Cutler but the Saints offense...if they turn the ball over and give away easy scores (because the defense can't stop anything) it could turn out to be a long night, with the Saints struggling to come from behind in a hole that they've dug by their own doing.

Drew Brees played one of his best games in years, out of his mind against the Steelers, and they still had to score on almost every possession, and they only won by 3 points in the end. With this defense, they basically have to play a PERFECT and mistake-free game against the Bears....a single mistake or error by the Saints offense could be the game changer.

Rain or snow shouldn't hamper the passing game much at all. Wind, on the other hand ...

um beg to differ didnt our defense hold the steelers to 17 pts until like the last 2 to 3 minutes of the 4th qtr? so defensively they played overall better. vacarro had a roughing the passer call that kept a drive alive on one of those series and i cant remember the other penalty that caused the steelers to keep their drive alive on another, but for most part of the game they both offesively and defensively played better. which i was totally baffled about the carolina game. how do you do go from how you played well on the road vs the steelers and come home and played like ametuers.[/QUOTE]

Welcome to today's NFL.

Re: 5 Reasons the New Orleans Saints will beat the Bears

(1) They're kid throws more ill-timed interceptions than our kid...

(2) They're defense has as many pre-paid traffic cones on defense as ours...

(3) They're down to just Alshon Jefferey & Martellus Bennett as receiving options...

(4) They're down to their third string defensive backs as well...

(5) They've got more drama than we do now that (former Saints OL Coach) Aaron Kromer apologized for being the NFL Network's source on the Jay Cutler Problem, and he will be available after the season...
