this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Personnel wise, we really only missed on Champ, and maybe Butler. As others have said, it just seemed like a perfect storm for failure on the defensive side. Relaxed TC, players reading their headlines, not much time to gel, injuries ...

Personnel wise, we really only missed on Champ, and maybe Butler.
As others have said, it just seemed like a perfect storm for failure on the defensive side. Relaxed TC, players reading their headlines, not much time to gel, injuries to the front 7, poor schemes early, accelerated age and decline of key players like Colston, Grubbs, Evans, mental breakdowns, miscommunications... |
