Loomis is usually busy this time of year signing some players to futures contracts for next year. Players have been cut from other teams and received an injury settlement and are home healing waiting on a phone call. I like the fact that he's keeping an eye on other teams PS's and is willing to raid them. There are players out there who have talent that needs to be developed and were drafted to develop on the practice squad. Some of these guys bounce around the league and are waiting for it to come together at the next stop. If we remain consistent with this approach it should land us a few good players.
