Now SP seems to be a stat guy- he has left Ingram in late in games to get him to 100. and we all remember Drew still throwing when we were up 30 against Atl on MNF.

If JG does play vs TB, and I was TB's coach, I'd let Gallete get 1 just to screw the Saints out of 6.5 mill

Of course, it being structured as a 2016 roster bonus, he has to be on the team in 2016 to collect.

it’s also worth pointing out that his 2015 cap figure will be greatly reduced in the spring. Right now he’s scheduled to count $15.45 million against the Saints’ 2015 cap because of a guaranteed $12.5 million roster bonus. But that will almost certainly be converted into a signing bonus and spread out over the final five years of his deal, which will drop his 2015 cap hit to $5.45 million.

Well there's 10 million knocked off our 2015 cap problems.

Meh i hope cam jordan gets those sacks. Galette shouldnt have had this contract it appears to me it effected us in the run game.

And Cam Jordan has done what exactly this season? He hasn't rushed the passer or stopped the run. At least Junior hasn't mailed it in this year.

This contract is exactly the reason any read option quarterback makes it to the Hall of Fame - Galette too focused on the sack.

No read option QB will make it to the HOF. Their careers would never be long enough and their numbers suck.
